Residency in Europe, Just a Dream?

Get To Europe receives hundreds of enquiries per week relating to ways to acquire residency in Europe.

While we wish to help everyone to obtain their desired status it is not possible for us to take on all petitions and we therefore have to unfortunately reject a large number of them. The good news is that with so many countries willing to take on business investors, entrepreneurs or self-employed people we are currently having an open view and are accepting more applications.

Hungary is particularly attractive as it does not require proof of a large sum of money (around €30,000 ). The Czech Republic is equally very interesting as the conditions are very similar and the country is simply beautiful!

On the other side of the spectrum we have Germany, requiring a very large upfront capital (around €1 million) and Holland, which has a point system where the application is reviewed on the basis of the initial capital, preexisting experience and the number of jobs to be created.

Portugal is requesting a capital of around €65,000 and Spain does not have a fixed amount as it depends of what business wants to start, but typically we would advise that at least €75,000 are lodged in a bank account.

It is now a great time to make up one’s mind and take the plunge, Europe is waiting for anyone with a business idea, with which we can help, and some disposable cash. And don’t forget that once one is resident of one country the whole of the UE-Schengen space is opened up and one will have the ability to travel in and out of Europe throughout any of the countries.
