Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the whole process take?

Processing times will vary from country to country. In our experience they can be as quick as 3 months but generally 6-8 months is what any applicant should allow.

Our network of lawyers have an extensive knowledge base on how applications are processed in different countries, and within each country different regions and provinces. Some countries have stricter eligibility criteria whilst others are more flexible, depending on the immigration policies approved by national parliaments. This information is regularly updated to maximize the chances of approval.

If you have a personal preference for a country we may discourage you from applying if your profile does not match what the country requires or demands from you. We will also advise again applying in certain countries if their Consulate or diplomatic mission in your country is particularly difficult or awkward.

We do not wish to waste your time and money and therefore it is important that we can indicate you where your application should be filed, even if this means having more connecting flights to reach this destination. Once you receive residency you will be a legal resident of the European Union-Schengen area and will be able to travel freely in and out of any of the countries of this area.

How many times do I need to travel to the country of application?

Each country has its own procedures but generally we try to avoid unnecessary trips although all countries will require that you are in the chose UE country to receive your card. Some other countries may require that you attend a meeting with the authorities at least once more, prior to obtaining a definitive answer.

Who will I be dealing with?

You will initially deal with our Immigration Consultants and on taking up the service a lawyer will be assigned to you.

Can I apply through 2 countries at the same time?

Yes, technically. However, it is contradictory to be resident in 2 countries at the same time and therefore if you are approved in both countries you should aim to pursue residency through only one of them to avoid having a double-residency status, which can bring you tax problems within the EU.

After how long can I become a permanent resident status?

Most countries will give a permanent status after 5 years of temporary residency (for example Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal, Slovakia etc.). We can assist you in renewing your temporary residency cards.

Can anyone apply for residency?

Unfortunately not. Business or non-working residency applicants should fulfill a number of minimum economic and/or financial requirements to be able to successfully apply. We can only take on clients whom we believe are going to be granted residency status, after reviewing their profiles.

Where are your clients mostly from?

We have clients from many different countries, among which is Morocco, Argelia, Libya, Abu Dhabi, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Kazajstan, Ukraine, Canada, Iran, Venezuela, USA, South Africa, Mozambique, Nigeria etc.

What languages do you speak?

English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian.
