The Schengen Traveller's Card Programme
What is it
The programme and benefits that the programme has to offer are based on the acquisition of Spanish Residence through the application for a Spanish Non Lucrative Residence Permit (Real Decreto 2393/2004).
The reason we have selected Spain as our EU member of choice is because of all the Schengen Countries, Spain has the least requirements for applicants, and where the success ratio of a positive outcome is much higher when compared to other European countries.
Who it is intended for?
The service is geared towards businesspeople or leisure travellers who want to be able to travel in, out and throughout Europe*, but do not wish to relocate to Spain. By becoming a Spanish resident, you gain all the privileges available to European residents, including the freedom of movement within the Schengen Area.
This permit is not available to everyone. It requires a minimum of $75,000 USD of yearly income, plus showing proof that you have the previous amount lodged in a local bank (in your country of residence). Another requirement is that a property is either rented or purchased in Spain.
Benefits
The benefits of the programme are plentiful. As an individual you will also be entitled to enjoy all the lifestyle privileges associated with having residency in the European Union. These include:
- Freedom to travel readily without any restrictions to and from the majority of the countries in Europe
- Possibility to relocate to Spain anytime. This benefit provides the security of last-minute or emergency relocation or travel to be arranged without the hassle and time delays involved in applications for travel visas.
- Many Others!
Please note that this type of permit is not suitable if you wish to work in Spain. If you are interested in any other permit that enables you to work in Spain, please visit immigration.lawbird.com.

Spain is a paradise for anyone wanting to become a European resident. The current laws are lax and enable anyone who complies with a minimum set of requirements to acquire residency in as quick as a few months. However, this situation is most likely not going to last long as Spain may soon follow the path of other European countries in regards to immigration laws and make it more difficult. Apply now for your Schengen Traveller's Card, before it's too late!
